Computer Connection

I took this course because I believe it will help me in journey towards my goal of becoming a programmer in the game industry.

Let's be honest, I spend at least a few hours of time on my computer every day. I know how to use command prompts, create 3d models in 3d studio max, unwrap 3d models to 2d maps in 3d studio max, and texture 2d maps in photoshop. I can manipulate photos in photoshop. I can create animations in 3d studio max, photoshop, and flash. I know how to work with the hammer world editor, unreal editor, trackmania editor, and many other level editors for various game engines. I know some basic html. I understand what various parts of a computer do. I know how to build a computer, from picking out parts that are compatible to finding the best deals on parts to finally putting it all together and turning it on. I know how to reformat a hard drive and install many different operating systems. I know how to remove bloatware from a new computer, and do registry cleans and defrag so that it runs better than out of the box. I understand audio and video encoding, and am able to hear and see differences in quality that most people don't notice. I know how to write in binary and hexadecimal.

What I hope to learn in this course is some basic object oriented programming.

The mark I hope to achieve in this course is an A, and I plan to achieve it by coming to class and doing work. I have a feeling this won't be very difficult.
